Moment limiter for aerial platform

The SIR LOCK 3 system covers the supervisory function, which plays an important role in ensuring that all material handling operations take place without risk of the machine tipping over, limiting its capacity. This ensures the safety of the operator and prevents costly damage to the machine, equipment and materials being handled. The instrument’s control software is a powerful Momentum Limiter integrated with the Machine Stabilisation Management in addition to the integration of Road Safety Management, the Maintenance Programme and the Black Box Events function. SIR LOCK 3 systems are set up according to the manufacturer’s technical specifications. SIR LOCK 3 complies with EN ISO 13849-1 PL D .

Display

The layout is simple and straightforward. The System is equipped with a large 4.3″ FULL-COLOR display. Thanks to the large screen, the operator has at his disposal at the same time and in real time a lot of information concerning the machine. This function is particularly popular as it allows keep the machine under control at all times during work: position of the boom, extension, stabilisation, weight in the basket.

BSL – Basket Self Levelling

The BSL is a stand-alone product and can also be integrated into SIR LOCK 3 systems. It is a module for automatic basket levelling. It is possible to release the basket manually to put it in rest position.

Work area limiter

SIR LOCK 3 also covers the function of Work Area Limiter for Aerial Platforms. The system, with the help of sensors installed on the machine, allows safe management of platform use in accordance with the use the operator is making, automatically managing the operating tables and reducing the working speed.

Road safety management

A2L is a kit designed by SPRING: it is an illuminated horn ideal for automotive applications. The industrialisation of the product allows it to be used both inside cabs and outside, located in remote control panels.

Data loggers – Counters

SIRLOCK 3 provides for the recording of events occurring during machine manoeuvring operations. The Black Box Logger consists, as its name indicates, of a ‘black’ box, a memory in which all events are stored. These events are stored by day – month – year and are not overwritten. Sir Lock 3 also provides for the recording of working times and machine utilisation rates. It is possible to download the counters and consult them using Excel. You can easily consult and download the desired events for a specific time period, a single day, a week, etc. The system offers the possibility of filtering downloaded data, so that only the information of interest regarding certain inputs, alarms, values, etc. can be displayed.

GPS / GPRS module – Remote assistance

SIR LOCK 3 can be equipped with the new GPS/GPRS module. Thanks to this innovative system, SPRING is able to offer Specialised Remote Assistance for each machine. Technical personnel are available in real time to help the customer: the problem will be identified easily and in a short time thanks to an accurate diagnosis and prompt intervention , the machine will be operational again.

GPS module – GPRS – Other functions

In systems with a GPRS module, a dedicated web portal is available to the customer. Many functions are integrated, including real-time geolocation of the machine or fleet of vehicles, rental management, various reports with data on movements made and different alarms that can be set as desired.
