We present Boomerang Z, the full dynamic weighing system for excavators and industrial loaders conceived and designed by SPRING s.r.l.. Thanks to a microprocessor system that guarantees a very high calculation capacity, the system is able to detect the weight of the material being handled in each position of the machine. The company extracts and produces soil (peat) for agriculture, in particular for mushroom cultivation. The peat is extracted in Salorno (BZ) and exported throughout Italy. Since 2017, SPRING s.r.l. has been at the side of this company to monitor the extraction on their vehicles: long arm excavators, dumpers, loaders and excavators on loading. At the end of extraction, the peat bog is then returned for agricultural use; to reconstruct the last layer of vegetation, the screens have been equipped with volumetric weighers to get the right size and to control the stock being produced at the same time. The use of precise volumetric weighers from SPRING s.r.l. allows the exact extracted load to be known in real time via tablet on the machine or remotely in the office. In this way the operator can know the hourly production and the presence of any faults.
